Twerk It, Girl: Miley Can Shake It

Posted on 08:00 by rendy orton
I'm not a big fan of Miley Cyrus. In fact, I'm not really a fan at all.

But this is kind of an awesome video of her twerking in a unicorn onesie.

And if you want your own unicorn onesie, you can get one here (http://bit.ly/ZoDxsg).
Note: I think Miley had her own made, since I couldn't find any online that fit like hers.

Mine is already in the mail.*

*Not really, but I'm strongly considering it. Or a frog onesie. Or possibly a lion.

It's the (Other) Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Posted on 08:00 by rendy orton
Girl Scout cookie season!

Lucky for me, I have reached the point in life when my friends have kids old enough to be in the Boy and Girl Scouting programs.

My friend Aundrea's daughter Emma is a Girl Scout, so I ordered 3 boxes of thin mints (my favorite).

Not even kidding, delivery day on Monday was kind of like Christmas for me.

I anticipate eating one sleeve per day, if I can muster that kind of personal restraint.

Mmm, it's gonna be a delicious six days...

What is your favorite flavor of Girl Scout cookies?

RIP Google Reader

Posted on 08:00 by rendy orton
When I went to check this morning which of my friends had posted blogs, I was met with a rude awakening.

Why, Google?! Why?!

Here's the story if you want to know more about the history and their reasoning.

So now I have to figure out how I'll follow my blogs.

Any suggestions? Other programs you guys use?

Child's Own Studio: Turning Kids' Drawings into Reality

Posted on 08:00 by rendy orton
I'd never heard of anything like this before, but I came across a post on themetapicture.com that highlighted a company which will make your child's picture into an actual toy.

They're called Child's Own Studio, and I'm loving the idea.

For example:
Note: all pictures from http://www.childsown.com, and they reserve the photo rights.

Genius.

Since they seem to be pretty slammed with requests, maybe I'll have to get some of my nephew and nieces pics and try making them some plush toys for Christmas.

And yes, I'll have to start soon in order to have them ready in 9 months haha
